Austin College junior softball player Stefanie Faith has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-West Region Second Team, the organization has announced. Faith is the only SCAC West Division player on either the first or second team.
Faith, a native of Rowlett, batted .381 with nine home runs and 32 runs batted in and added eight doubles to finish among the conference leaders in each category. With her nine homers, Faith also finished the season tied for the career lead in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference history. Earlier this spring she was named 1st Team All-SCAC following her outstanding season.
Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
