The Austin College volleyball team went 3-1 last week to improve to 13-1 overall this season and were rewarded by moving up two spots to No. 20 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Top 25 poll.
The ’Roos made the jump and remain one of three Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference teams ranked in the Top 25 despite suffering their first loss of the season last week at the hands of No. 7-ranked Colorado College. At No. 17, Southwestern University rounds out the SCAC trio in this week’s rankings.
Austin College will travel to Sewanee, Tennessee this weekend to compete in the SCAC East/West Tournament, where they will take on Oglethorpe University and Sewanee on Saturday, followed by a pair of matches against DePauw University and Trinity University on Sunday.
Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
