The Austin College volleyball team split its four matches at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference East/West Crossover in Sewanee, Tennessee over the weekend, getting a pair of 3-0 wins over Oglethorpe and Sewanee before falling to DePauw and Trinity by scores of 3-1. The ‘Roos are now 15-3 overall and 4-3 in SCAC play this season.
Jessica Fleming continued her strong play this season by averaging 3.55 kills and 2.0 blocks per set with a .440 attack percentage for the weekend and Jordan Anderton averaged a team-best 10.91 assists per set in the four matches. Jessica Wash also had a strong weekend, averaging 2.62 kills and 1.38 blocks per set with a .439 attack percentage and Quinn McKee posted an average of 6.14 digs per set with a high of 35 digs in the loss to Trinity.
The ‘Roos step out of conference play this week when they travel to Irving to participate in a tri-match at the University of Dallas on Friday.
