Plug back into college life at Austin College during Homecoming and Reunion Weekend 2010. Whether it’s been a year, a decade or more since you’ve been back to campus, homecoming is definitely not to be missed. This weekend is our chance to throw open the doors wide to our alumni and guests. Reconnect with old friends, take a tour of campus to discover how much is changing and improving, visit with current students and faculty, experience an Austin College football game, and get back in the classroom at Alumni College. We hope to see you there!

Events include:
- 2010 Awards Dinner, honoring recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award, Heywood C. Clemons Volunteer Service Award, and the new Service to Alumni Award -Friday, 6:30 pm
- Alumni College Faculty Speakers -Friday afternoon
- Alumni and Faculty Coffee -Saturday, 9 am
- Convocation, with State of the College Address from Dr. Marjorie Hass -Saturday, 10:15 am
- Crimson and Gold Lunch on the Mall -Saturday, 11:30 am – 1 pm
- The Mound Builders, a play by Lanford Wilson – Friday 7:30 pm and Saturday 2:30 pm
- Austin College Football vs. Rhodes, 1 pm
- Howard McCarley Memorial Biology Field Trip, Saturday, 1:30-5 pm

Call for Nominations: Distinguished Alumni Awards
The Austin College Alumni Board is now accepting nominations for the 2011Distinguished Alumni Awards. This award is given for sustained, distinguished accomplishment and contribution to any field of endeavor that brings distinction to the award recipient and to Austin College. It is the highest honor granted to an alumnus/alumna by Austin College. Make your nomination online or contact the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations. The deadline for nominations is February 28, 2011. The nominees will be notified of their selection by June 30, 2011. The awards will be presented at the Awards Dinner during 2011 Homecoming and Reunion Weekend.
