Stefanie Faith ’11 finished 2010 tied for the SCAC career record. She will hold sole ownership of the record in 2011.
Women's Basketball Hero #3
Michelle Filander became women’s basketball head coach for the 2010-2011 season. She came to Austin College from Washington & Jefferson College, where she served as an assistant coach for four years.
Men's Basketball Hero #3
The 1958 and 1959 men’s basketball teams won back-to-back NAIA National Tournament berths.
Swimming & Diving Hero #3
The Austin College swimming & diving team established five team records at the SCAC Championship Meet in 2010, and both the men and women finished ninth overall.
Tennis Hero #3
The women’s team cracked the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Rankings for the first time in program history, coming in at No. 14 in the West Region.

Volleyball coach Ed Garza picked up his 400th career coaching victory in 2010.

The first men’s soccer game of the 2010-2011 season will be against the University of Dallas on September 1.
Football Hero #3
The athletics department dedicated the new Gene "Duke" Babb scoreboard with the legendary Duke Babb in attendance prior to the game on Saturday, September 11, 2010.  The Kangaroos improved to 2-0 on the year with a 20-14 win over Texas Lutheran.
Women's Soccer Hero #3
The Austin College women’s soccer team enjoyed a strong 2009 season, finishing the year with an overall record of 10-6-2.
Baseball Hero #3
The Austin College baseball team headed back to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference playoffs in the 2010 season, clinching one of the top three spots in the SCAC West Division.
