Student Athlete Advisory Council

Austin College Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) Purpose:

• To consult and advise the Austin College administration in an effort to implement programs that address the needs of student-athletes
• To promote and encourage the involvement of student-athletes in campus and community projects
• To provide programs for student-athletes that will encourage academic achievement, health promotion, social responsibility, and general awareness
• To assist with generating interest and support of campus for athletic events
• To represent a collective voice of student-athletes at Austin College
