No doubt about it, life on the Austin College campus is always interesting. Because the majority of our students live on campus, there’s always something happening.

Much of your home life will center around the residence halls, where first-year students are grouped into clusters. Here, strangers quickly become friends and friends become family over late-night study breaks and impromptu pizza parties.

As a student at Austin College, you’ll choose from more than 70 student organizations ranging from political to academic to service groups. Austin College also offers fraternities and sororities, a full range of intramurals for men and women, and NCAA Division III athletic competition in six sports for men and six for women.

Our location in Sherman, Texas—included on Money magazine’s short list of “most livable small cities” in the U.S.—offers restaurants, movies, and shopping, as well as easy access to the multitude of opportunities in Dallas, south of campus on Highway 75.

Student Assembly

Student Assembly (SA), the student governing body for Austin College students, serves in an advisory capacity to the Student Affairs Division and other bodies on campus which seek general student opinion.

Volunteer Services
