Athletics
The college affiliates nationally with the NCAA Division III and competes as a member of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), a non-scholarship athletic conference comprised of national liberal arts Division III colleges in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas.
Auxiliary Enterprises
Auxiliary Enterprises include Aramark Housekeeping and Food Services on campus. The Austin College Bookstore is a Follett Campus Store.
Campus Police
The Austin College Police Department is located in The Jackson Technology Center, Room 100. Officers are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call Extension 2555 to contact the Austin College Campus Police Department. If you’re outside the campus, the number is 903.813.2555.
Religious Life
Austin College is deeply sensitive to, and respectful of, the many spiritual traditions represented among its students. Student Life
Student Life is a student-focused program that offers intentional active learning opportunities for students that complements their formal academic program. Members of the Student Life Office assist students through advising, counseling, consulting, teaching, and training to develop the skills and abilities needed to become contributing citizens in a pluralistic society. These intentionally designed programs and activities are based on the experiential learning concepts.
