Through our Global Outreach “GO” Fellowships, you can pursue life-changing international service projects in countries such as Cambodia, Ghana, India, Lebanon, Russia, the Philippines and Pakistan. 
9 out of 10 students are involved in service efforts like the Great Day of Service, sponsored by the Service Station. Our students desire to make a difference in the world, and their enormous energy and time commitment result in more than 12,000 hours of service a year.
There are 91 full-time faculty members at Austin College, and 93% are tenured or tenure-track faculty with a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree.
Austin College offers 50 majors and four pre-professional programs. Students can also create their own course of study with an interdisciplinary studies degree.

Posey Leadership Institute
The Austin College Posey Leadership Institute gives aspiring student leaders extraordinary opportunities to train for lives of leadership and service. Every year, 15 entering freshmen and up to five sophomores are invited to participate in the Posey Leadership Institute.
Jan Term
What can you do in a month? Plenty--if you're a student at Austin College.
January Term lets students dabble in subjects they might not otherwise find time to explore. Some courses take students to exotic locations. And for a short, but intense, work experience, Jan Term can't be beat.
